FAQ
Your questions, answered!
Q: What is your payment structure for custom pieces?
Custom jewelry requires a 50% non-refundable deposit once you approve the CAD renderings, wax model, and final quote. The remaining 50% is due upon completion before shipping or pickup.
Q: Why is the deposit non-refundable?
Once you approve your design, I begin sourcing custom gemstones, casting in your chosen metal, and dedicating weeks of skilled craftsmanship to create a one-of-a-kind piece made specifically for you. Because each piece is custom-made to your exact specifications, it cannot be resold or repurposed.
Q: Can I return or exchange a custom piece?
No. Custom jewelry is final and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. That's why we take such care during the design phase—hand sketches, CAD renderings, and wax model approval—to ensure you're 100% confident before we move to fabrication.
Q: What if there's a problem with my finished piece?
If there's a manufacturing defect (which is extremely rare given our quality standards), we'll make it right. Any concerns must be communicated within 14 days of receipt with photos. Normal wear and tear is not covered.
Q: Can I make changes after I approve the design?
Once you approve the wax model and submit your deposit, the design is locked. Changes at that stage would require restarting the process with additional fees. That's why we encourage you to take your time reviewing the sketches, CAD renderings, and wax model before giving final approval.
Q: How long does the custom design process take?
The custom design process takes 4-6 weeks from initial consultation to delivery. This includes design development, CAD rendering, wax model approval, casting, stone setting, and hand-finishing. This timeline cannot be shortened. Each piece requires careful craftsmanship at every stage, and rushing the process would compromise the quality and precision you're paying for. If you have a specific deadline (proposal, anniversary, birthday), you must book your consultation at least 6-8 weeks before that date. I cannot guarantee delivery for projects booked with less notice.
